My sound for film progress

Firstly, I have chosen the clips from Seven and World War Z. This is as the intro of Seven appealed to me due to the fact that I'm into horror/thriller movies whereas World War Z I have already seen and so I was quite comfortable creating a soundtrack for this movie as I was already familiar with it.
Moving onto creating the soundtracks for the move clips, I had started with World War Z which made me then realise that this may be quite challenging due to the fact I couldn't find any good samples of the plane flying due to the majority of them ending too fast and containing the sound of the plane taking off. This had made me move onto Seven as I didn't want to waste much time looking for samples as that wasn't very productive. While watching the Seven clip I had already gained a idea of what I wanted to do. For the intro I had used a low tuned distorted bass to create a disturbing atmosphere for the person watching. The bass line was also very simple due to he fact I didn't want to make a melody line as I was going to use automation for the bass to increase in volume as the name of the actors showed up. I wanted to do this as in the original the soundtrack also had made a different sound when the names showed up.
I will need to use the best one I can find and just use the middle section of the sample repeatedly as it will then remain at the same, constant engine sound making the scene a lot more realistic. I will then make one longer sample out of plenty shorter samples.
