Tuesday 23rd October

Today we have been able to pick our own groups for the performance just like the week before firstly there weren't many changes in our group compared to last week, we were also able to choose any song that we liked to perform. Once we got all the equipment we needed and we booked a room we have began on choosing a song and during the process Jack had suggested to do Zombie by the Cranberries to which we all agreed. We then gave the original a listen as well as some cover versions but we sticked to the original in the end. For the instruments and roles of each of us we decided that Aiden and Jack would play the guitar, I would play bass, Yasmin and Ollie would do vocals, Taz would play the drums and lastly John would play the piano. We then have began learning the parts for each of our instruments so that all of us would have been comfortable in what we had to play. In the middle of the day Wilf had just got in and he didn't have a band to work with so we decided that our band would split into two having one do zombie by the cranberries and the other twenty one pilots. We then have managed to learn both songs for our performances.

For the first performance me, John, Jack, Aiden, Yasmin, Ollie and Wilf played Zombie by The Cranberries and for the second performance John, Ollie, Yasmin, Taz and Wilf had performed Heathens by Twenty One Pilots.

Overall I think that the performance had went quite well to be honest, we managed to all perform quite comfortably with confidence and we were all satisfied with the result whereas I think next time we could choose a more challenging song.
